9 July 2025—The Centre for IMT-GT Subregional Cooperation (CIMT) facilitated the 18th IMT-GT Working Group on Trade and Investment Facilitation (WGTI) Meeting, an important step in strengthening regional economic ties.
The meeting discussed ways to strengthen collaboration between special economic zones and the revival of the BIMP-EAGA and IMT-GT Trade and Investment Fair. With shared goals and a united approach, IMT-GT is paving the way for a more integrated subregional economy.
